Collin is an insurance practitioner with a career spanning over 14 years. Collin became a member of the Insurance Institute of Harare (IIH) committee in 2000 and was elected President of the institute in 2005. In 2006 he was the immediate past president of IIH and also a member of the Insurance Institute of Zimbabwe (IIZ) board committee on Public Relations. He is a trustee of the Pension Fund and chairs its Investment Subcommittee. Collin was also member of the African Insurance Organization organizing sub-committee on Transport and Logistics for 2011.
